Staff Rules

Yep, staff DO have some separate rules to you members. :3 Any staff caught breaking these rules will be punished.

1. If you accept a bio of a dragon, you must go to the full of your staff duties. This means not only moving their dragon to THEIR personal archive, but also informing then that everything is in order. If something is wrong with their bio, you may not accept it.

2. Being a staff member means staying active, KNOWING the SITE's personal rules off by heart, and not lying or losing your temper at any cost. You also may NOT make up your own rules. Only the head of the site has permission to do that. If you wish to add a new rule, you MUST take it up with head admin. Below are the permissions of staffies:

Geneticists:

Mini modding geneticist and mating boards for MA/M/R material
Helping out all people who want to become geneticsts

Moderators:

Modding all boards for fights, M/MA/R material, powerplaying or other rule breaks
Full control over those rule breaks
May SUGGEST new rules in staff meetings. May NOT make up rules.
The ability to lock, sticky, edit and move threads (DO NOT ABUSE THIS.)
May send warnings
May send TEMPORARY bans with PERMISSION from higher ranks

Admins:

All Mod abilities
May ban or warn however they want
May make their own rule guides
May make their own rules (limited)

Top of the site

All admin and mod abilities
Full editing of the site
May make their own rules however they wish
EVERYTHING!

3. You must ALWAYS put a stopper to fights, inappropriate conversations or imgs, or RP rule breaks in the correct way, regardless of whether they are your friend or not. Below is a list of how you must handle certain situations.

Fighting breaks out:

Warn the starter of the fight (PM or on the post itself)
For drastic arguements, ban the starter
Delete all traces of rudeness from their posts
Lock the thread (Sometimes multiple of these options must take place.)

If you see spam:

Lock the threads
Delete the spam
Warn the spammer/advertiser

If someone posts a sexual image or starts an 'adult rated' conversation:

Temporarily or permantely ban the offender without warning
IMMEDIATELY delete ALL traces of the arguement
Lock the thread
Put a warning of the former content in the title

If someone breaks a simple RP rule:

Inform them of their rulebreak calmly
If behaviour continues, Pm them with a firmer inform. (Do NOT lose your temper.)
Edit the rulebreak so that it meets the criteria for the rules
If the rulebreak gets too bad, lock the thread
